Medical device development is a team sport, and the players are increasingly distributed across different firms, geographies, and time zones. Inevitably, every player makes discoveries, observations, and developments every day, and these are scattered among notebooks, hard drives, desk drawers, shared folders, and emails, hopefully to be captured and formalized later. In the age of Google, Blogger, and Wikipedia, there’s no reason for such a disorganized state of affairs to persist.

DARWIN Collaborative Design Intelligence is a secure and encrypted online system developed and hosted by Proximal Design to record, organize, and share all the knowledge assets developed throughout a project’s life cycle.

The DARWIN system is central to all of Proximal Design’s engagements, serving as the conduit that connects concept development, virtual prototyping, and IP with each other, and with the client’s own internal systems and/or other development partners. Secure, real-time access to DARWIN is included for the duration of every engagement.
